This year I was invited and incredibly inspired to illustrate an Advent poster and 26 characters for Thriving Family magazine. It was truly an honor to approach the challenge of designing/interpreting my favorite characters through Scripture and bring them all together in a unique scene that tells the Advent story.

I am consistently in awe of the resources Focus on the Family Thriving Family offers to help families connect. Being part of this unique Advent project with them has given me a deeper appreciation and understanding of this sacred celebration. Seeing the story God was weaving together through all these individual stories to bring His greatest gift to the world encourages me in my own faith journey to embrace how my own life fits into His story.
